Packers

Packers are used to isolate the annulus and anchor or secure the bottom of the production tubing string. Evolution offers a range of production packers designed to suit your wellbore geometry and production requirements.

Our Packer offering includes Retrievable Production Packers and Accessories. They range from the simple, economical STP-1 Tubing Packer, a compact tension-set Packer to our Integrator X Mechanical Set Packer which can be set in tension, compression, or neutral. As part of our Packer Accessories, Evolution offers our T2 Overshot and Seal Nipple. This two-piece, quick release connector is designed for easy, reliable service for all well bore conditions.

Model AD-1 Tension Packer

The Evolution ADL-1 Tension Packer (also known as the STP-1L Packer) provides a compact, economical retrievable packer for use where a set-down type packer is impractical due to pressure requirements. Although designed primarily for waterflooding, this packer can also be used for such pressuring operations as formation fracturing in shallow or low-fluid-level wells.

Model 32-A Tension Set Packer

The 32-A Tension Set Packer is a versatile, easy to use tension set tool, which holds differential pres

sure from above or below. It is designed to run, set, reset and retrieve easily even under adverse conditions. It is ideal for squeeze cementing and straddle operations using a retrievable bridge plug

Model A-2 Lock-Set Retrievable Casing Packer

The A-2 Lock –Set Retrievable Casing Packer is a full bore double-grip retrievable packer with an integral unloader. Opposed, non-transferring dovetail slips prevent movement of the packer in either direction due to pressure differentials, while allowing landing of the tubing in tension, compression or neutral.

Integrator-X Production Packer

The Integrator-X Production Packer is a mechanical set, retrievable casing packer that effectively meets the requirements for zone isolation, injection and production. The full opening ID allows unrestricted flow and passage of full gage wireline tools and accessories. Mechanical lock-set action closes an internal bypass and allows application of pressure above or below the packer.

Model G Retrievable Casing Packer

The Model G Retrievable Casing Packer is a compact, economical set down packer that can be used by itself for production applications or, with a comparison unloader and hold-down. It can be used for well stimulation, testing and other pressuring operations and then left in the well as a production packer.

Coiled Tubing Smart-J Tension Packer

The Evolution Coiled Tubing Smart-J Tension Packer (CT-Smart-J Packer) provides a compact, economical, retrievable packer for use where a set-down type packer for coiled tubing operations. Although designed primarily for waterflooding, this packer can also be used for such pressuring operations as formation fracturing in shallow or low-fluid levels.

Model FH Double-Grip

The Model FH Double-Grip Hydrostatic Single String Packer is a retrievable packer set by either the hydrostatic head of the well, tubing pressure, or both.

Model R3 Retrievable Casing Packer

The Evolution Model R3 Retrievable Casing Packer is a retrievable set-down packer that features a large bypass area through the packer.

Model RC-2 Hydro-Grip Packer

The Evolution Model RC-2 Hydro-Grip Packer is a set-down packer with button-type hold-down and built in unloader. It is used for pressure acidizing, formation fracturing and other squeeze operations.

Two Cup Packer

The Evolution Oil Tools Two Cup Packer is a retrievable packer for single string wells of moderate differential pressure. The packer isolates leaks in the casing, zones and injection wells in shallow conditions effectively and efficiently.

Model PS-TXT Packer

The Evolution Model PS-TXT Packer is a quarter turn compression set, retrievable packer that is capable of holding high pressure from above and below. It is used for acidizing, fracturing, cementing and casing pressure tests.

E-Hydraulic Set Packer

The Evolution E-Hydraulic Set Packer is a single string retrievable packer used for multiple production applications. Tubing pump pressure is used to set the packer with the setting force locked into the unit by a body lock string.
